DARK CIRCLES:Causes & Remedies


First of all, try and figure out the reason you have developed dark circles in your eye. Because once you can pinpoint the cause, it would be much easier for you to get rid of them.

CAUSES:
·        Allergies: Are you allergic to something, because of allergies it can occur in your eye.
·         Heredity: dark circles can runs from your family.
·        Lifestyle: drinking and smoking is responsible for black circle.
·        Irregularities of pigmentation: we cam see it mainly in people of color like Asian and blacks.
·        Sun Burning: sun promotes our body to produce more melanin.
·        Loss of fat and collagen: which create reddish blue blood vessels under our eyes.

REMEDIES:
  •  Apply Vitamin E to the area under your eye. You could open up a Vitamin E capsule, and apply a little oil. Swallow the rest of the oil. This not only helps you get rid of dark circles, but also reduces puffiness around the eyes.
  •  Apply Vitamin C creams under your eye.
  • Take a capsule of cod liver oil everyday. It helps you to strengthens eyes.
  • Take a teaspoon of tomato juice, a few drops of lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder and a little flour, to make a paste. Apply this paste regularly under-eye area, and wash off after fifteen minutes. You can use teabag also.
  • Drink at least ten glasses of water everyday. There is no stressing this enough. If you do not drink at least eight glasses of water everyday, you are not providing your body with as much water as it requires for flushing out toxins. Do not wait until you are thirsty before drinking up.
  • Extra pillows: Elevate your head with two or more pillows to prevent puffiness. Puffiness develops when fluid pools in your lower eyelids.
  •  Avoid stepping out in the sun, when the sun is at its strongest. Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes, and use sunscreen.
  • Apply a concealer gently to the area under your eyes, to hide dark circles.
  • Lie down, close your eyes and apply cucumber or potato slices to your lids for ten minutes and remove. Wash the area with cold water it helps boost blood circulation in the under-eye area.
  •  You can try out dark circle remover creams. You should make sure that they are of a recognized brand
